Mike Clark is a world-class keyboardist and music director known for his versatility,
precision, and unmistakable musical presence. His dynamic style seamlessly spans
Pop, Motown, Smooth Jazz, Broadway show tunes, Latin music, and beyond—making
him a sought-after talent for both live performance and musical direction.



Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Mike began his musical journey at just six
years old studying organ, later expanding to piano in his early teens. By his late
teens, he was already performing in New York’s jazz scene alongside legendary
artists such as Dizzy Gillespie, Jimmy McGriff, Lou Donaldson, Sonny Fortune,
and the Marsalis brothers—an early foundation that shaped his signature sound
and professionalism.



With over three decades of experience, Mike has built an impressive career as both
a musical director and elite sideman, performing across the globe and in premier
venues throughout Las Vegas, Reno, Atlantic City, and Lake Tahoe. His performance
credits include more than 100 renowned artists, including Michael Lington,
Johnny Gill, Chaka Khan, Isaac Hayes, The Drifters, Bo Diddley, Regina Belle,
and many more.



In Las Vegas, Mike has been a staple of the entertainment scene, currently serving
as Musical Director and Keyboardist for Kelly Clinton’s “Sit In” at The Composers Room,
a role he has held for nearly two decades. His ability to lead, arrange, and elevate
live performances has made him a trusted figure among top-tier entertainers.



Beyond the stage, Mike’s work can be heard across major platforms including Spotify,
YouTube, and Pandora, collaborating with artists such as Melanie Moore, Gwen Guthrie,
Lena Prima, and more.
