I remember wanna be the cool kid So bad that I changed every little thing That I had taught like them Dressed like them And even laughed at jokes that I didn't get then I lied about where I'm from Who I love what I like Turned my story to a script just to fit in the night Saying I'm that guy when I wasn't that through Just to scare the little soul in a loud costume. I chase clouds, chasing faces I don't even know. Say yes to stuff I never wanted just to stay in the glow. Every party that I had left my spirit more drained.
